It is with great sadness that the families of Leslie Reid announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Pt, NL, on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Corbett (Glenda), Mary Hatcher, Rellie (Gerald Crocker), Verna (Dave Miller), Victor (Mary-Ann), Darrell, Yvonne (Alfred Bridger), Bev (Wycliffe Winsor), Trudy (Randell McKay), and Claudia (Dave Chafe); 37 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Nancy Reid, Elizabeth Reid and Rose Reid. Father was predeceased by his wife Annie, his children: Alex, Ernest, Donna, Freeman and Gord, his son-in-law; Lionel Hatcher. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of the Good Shepherd in Norris Pt, NL, today, Thursday, November 15th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm and continuing on Friday, November 16th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, November 17th, 2012, at 2 pm with Rev. Louise Richards officiating with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
