Peacefully at the Hamilton Continuing Care Nursing Home on Monday, April 28, 2008, Miss Jennie Margaret McInnis of Burlington, Ont. in her 85th year. Jennie was born in Mt. Mellick, P. E. I. and was predeceased by her parents, John Malcolm McInnis and Jennie Melinda (Lively) McInnis. Employed by C.N.R., Hamilton, Ont. for 37 years, Jennie retired in 1988. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Ethel Hayes (Wilfred, predeceased) of Charlottetown, P. E. I.; Agnes Cannon (Jim) of Sarnia, Ont., and her brother, Charles McInnis (Denise) of London, Ont. Predeceased by her sisters, Mary Dayman and Helen Parker (Beverley). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and brother-in-law, Errol Dayman. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905-527-0405) on Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m..
