ROY, Allison Carleton -78, of St. Andrew’s Street, Pictou, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, November 17, 2012. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Jean Noel and father, Allsion Carleton Roy; also by his wife, Della Noel Cyr and brother, Wallie Roy. He is survived by his four children, Cindy Roy, Westville; Kurt Roy (Zella), Halifax; Kent Roy (Kathy), Westville; Denise Patton (Kevin), New Glasgow; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and special companion, June Williamson. Allison worked at the Pictou Shipyard and Trenton Works. He was an outgoing person and well known for his story telling. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 PM Wednesday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Family flowers only please.
