Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Tuesday, April 29, 2008, of Elmo Praught of Charlottetown and formerly of Cherry Valley, age 78 years. Elmo is survived by his sister, Bernadette Snyder of California; close friend and cousin, Bernadette MacPherson, and special uncle to nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Marion (nee McCabe) Praught, and sisters and brothers, Marian, Pauline, Joseph, Billy, Harvey, Lorraine and Brendon. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 6-9 p.m. only. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 1, at St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
