WORKS, BETTY B. – 78, of Truro, and formerly of Parrsboro passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Mira Long Term Care Facility, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Gwen (Hughes) Works. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crafting and baking. She survived by her children, Crystal Seaward (Randy), Edmonton; Bruce Works (Grace), Brampton, Ont.; Paul Works, Truro; Cindy Bates, Truro; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Junior (Mary), Valley; Keith (Pearl), Truro Heights; Bud (Dot), East Mountain; Lloyd, Calgary; Don (Teresa), Peterborough, Ont. She was predeceased by her common-law husband, Floyd Patterson; a sister, Eileen Cameron. There will be no funeral service by her own request.
