At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Thursday, May 1, 2008, of Mary Johanna Gallant (nee MacInnis) of Montague, age 86 years. Wife of the late James A. Gallant. Beloved mother of Joseph (June), Georgetown; Donna (Eddie) Trainor, Vernon River; Ronnie, New Perth; Darlene (Kenny D.) Peters, Souris; Joan, Charlottetown; Danny, St. Teresa, and Carolyn Morrison, Charlottetown. Loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of Helen Bradley, Mary Ellen MacCormack, and Tony MacInnis. Predeceased by her brother, John, her grandson, Jason and son-in-law, Mike Morrison. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Saturday at 12:15, then to St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River, for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment in the St. Joachim’s Parish Cemetery.
