Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Thursday, May 1, 2008, of Roy Wilfred MacDonald of Newland Crescent, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Large). Dear father of Julie (John), Shelley and Patti Griffin. Loving grandfather of Chad MacDonald and Ashley Griffin. Brother of Walter (Gwen). Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Jenny (Murphy) MacDonald and by his brothers and sister, Joseph ‘Plum’, William, Lloyd and Marian. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, for visitation Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday from First Baptist Church, Charlottetown at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
