NEW GLASGOW – Margaret Laureen “Laurie” Livingstone, 60, New Glasgow went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Sunday, November 25, 2012.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Pentz) Works.
In earlier years she had worked for Maritime Tel & Tel and Kmart. She enjoyed baking, reading, crocheting and spending time with her cat, Snoop. Laurie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Robert “Bob” Livingstone; daughter, Stacey Livingstone (Tim Hatt), Stellarton; son, Jeremy Livingstone (Alicia Anderson), Stellarton; grandson, Colin; sisters: Linda White, Beverley Works, Stellarton; Marie (Dale) MacLeod, Green Hill; brother, Brian (Cathy) Works, Vancouver, B.C.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Haley Dawn Anderson; brother, Howard Works; brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” White.
There will be no visitation at Laurie’s request. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow with Stan Allan officiating.
