Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Friday, November 23, 2012, Mrs. Emily Mary Crant, age 88 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Donna (husband, David Pierce) and Sharon (husband, Reginald Strickland) all at Harbour Breton; sons, Marvin (wife, Jessie) at Harbour Breton, David (wife, Nina) at McCallum and Terry (wife, Tracey) at Harbour Breton; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; special niece, Margaret Tibbo at Harbour Breton; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander, sister, Mabel Taylor, and brother, Eric White.
Funeral service was held from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Harbour Breton at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 26, 2012 with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at Harbour Breton.
