Peacefully, with family by her side, at South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 of Mrs. Mary McGaughey of Bonshaw in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Clarence Pineau and the late Alfred McGaughey. Dear mother of Noreen Gallant (Dave), Shirley Cleveland, George Pineau (Carol) and Clarence Pineau (Edie). Grandmother of Debbie, Jimmy (Christine), Michelle, David, Lisa (Josh) and Chris (Chrissy). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Alice McMurrer; brothers, Leo McMurrer and William "Bill" McMurrer; and her son, Wayne.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 9:30 on Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Joseph's Church, Kelly's Cross, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
