Peacefully and surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 29, 2012 of Hilda Clara Thompson (nee Gorman) of St. Peter's Bay, age 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Thompson. Dear mother of Jerry (Darlene), Jim Thompson, Frankie (Louise), Sheila Sanderson (Wendell), Cynde Thompson (Doug Havenga) and Billy Thompson. Grandmother of Jason and Justin Sanderson, Cindy Conway, Theresa and Stephen Thompson, Emiley Newbury and great-grandmother to Lilly, Eric and Hailey, Hunter. Sister of Sr. Mary Anne Gorman, Ella Goudreau and Frank Gorman. Sister-in-law to Harold Thompson (Kit), John Thompson (Marie), Joe Thompson, Mary Jay (Kenny). Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Manuel and Emma (Power) Gorman; by her great-grandson, Christopher; by her brothers, Bob Gorman, Joe Gorman, Michael Gorman; and by her sisters, Georgina MacDonald (Gully), Barb MacDonald (Joey); and by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Goudreau, Jerome Thompson (Frances), Josephine Thompson, Mary Thompson, Wilfred Thompson and Mary Catherine Thompson.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Saturday at 12:30 p.m. then to St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter's Bay, for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visitation Friday from 6-9 p.m.
