KING, Percy - Percy William King of Unity, SK passed away in Saskatoon, SK on Nov. 9, 2012. Percy will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Helena (nee Bossert) of 30 years. By his two sons Bradley (Laurette), Steven (Patricia), grandson Blake and two step grandsons Eric and Daniel. Sister Evelyn (Claude) Lambert and brothers Gordon, Morris (Ruth), sisters-in-law Shirley Bossert, Lydia Bronstein, Mary (Dave) Mead, Wendy (Barry) Gory, Lylla Martel and friend (Scott), Anita (Vincent) Morrin, brothers-in-law Siegfried (Charlene) Bossert, Michael (Lorianne) Bossert, Aaron and Bruce Bossert. Many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, mother-in-law and father-in-law Lois and John Bossert. He was predeceased by his father Walter King and his mother Phyllis King, one sister-in-law Linda King. Percy was born and raised in Ponteix, SK. He lived with his family on the farm. He took his mechanics course in Moose Jaw for 8 months. He met the love of his life and they were married in August of 1982. They had two beautiful children Bradley and Steven. Percy was a wonderful father to his boys. They did everything together as a family. Percy was very proud of his two sons and he was a very loving and caring husband. He was very supportive. Percy loved camping, hunting, woodworking and making sausages as a family. He even taught his daughter-in-law Laurette how to hunt. He liked teaching his sons about mechanics and fixing vehicles. Percy always had a way of making things fun. He could be a very serious person but he always knew when to have a good time. Helena, boys, their wives and grandsons look forward to seeing Percy again. Helena, Bradley, Steven, Laurette, Patricia and grandsons look forward to the day when we will see him again on a paradise earth in perfect health where death will be no more. A private Celebration of Percy's Life was held November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Adanac, Hall, Unity, SK with Brother Sid Unruh presiding. Those attending the Memorial Book were Mary Mead and Anita Bossert. The urnbearers were Bradley and Steven King. Honourary Pallbearers were "Everyone who shared in Percy's Life." A time of fellowship and lunch followed the service. Memorial Donations may be made to the Courtesy Car, Box 1356, Unity, SK S0K 4L0 or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Glassford's Funeral Home, Unity - "Serving with dignity and compassion." (228-2648).
