It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marcel Noël announce his sudden passing on Friday, November 30, 2012 in his 80th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Rona (nee Hynes); son Glenn, granddaughter Meaghan (Ryan), grandson Steven (Katherine), two treasured great-grandchildren: Emmet and Erin; sister Lucille Noël, brother Bert (Dorothy), Corner Brook, John (Delores), Kamloops BC, sister-in-law Mary Noël, brothers-in-law Malcolm Campbell and Joseph Sparrow, also sisters-in-law: Marina Allen, Joan Green, Doris Hicks, Corner Brook, Alice Kelley, Arizona, Audrey (Keith), Steady Brook; brothers-in-law Merle (Diane), Harvey (Betty), Gerald, Max, Wayne (BJ), Don (Joyce) Hynes, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his precious son Keith; parents Emile & Mary Noël; sisters: Marcheta Dunphy, Peggy Sparrow, Simmone Campbell; brothers: Valmore and Emile Noël; mother and father–in-law Sandy and Elizabeth Hynes. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 3rd at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street with Father Edmund Camacho officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador or a charity of one’s choice.
