It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Durnford announces his passing on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at Chancellor Park Long Term Care Home in St. John’s at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his three daughters: Eva Benoit (John), Clarenville, Blanche Courtney (Maxwell), Burgeo and Marjorie Terry (Ronald), Maine, USA; eight grandchildren: Melanie, Sonya, Ron, Gary, Maria, Cammie, David and Johnny, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Irene Durnford. Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Anglican church in Burgeo on Saturday evening and Sunday from where the funeral will be held on Monday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at the Community Cemetery, officiated by Reverend George Childs. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
