DOBSON, WESLEY EDWARD - Surrounded by his loving family, Wesley Edward Dobson passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 3rd, 2012. Born in Newcastle Creek, March 18th, 1934, he was the son of the late James and Nellie Dobson and husband of the late Thelma (Hickey) Dobson. Wesley is survived by his sons, Gavin (Tammy) and Robert (Margaret); sisters, Doreen (John) Logue, Madeline (Paul) King and Ina Gauvin; grandchildren, Felicia, Troy, Tyler, Andrew and Brian; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Alexis. He was predeceased by his sisters, Clara, Evelyn, Lillian, Ethel, Mildred and Carol; brothers, Arthur and James. Wesley worked at CFB Gagetown for most of his working life.
Resting at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street on Thursday, December 6th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, December 7th, 2012 at 11:00 am with Fr. Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Wesley made to the St. Vincent de Paul Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. www.oromoctofh.com
