BOURGEOIS, EDOUARD - 1920 - 2012 - Edouard Bourgeois, 92, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Souverin and the late Nelida (née: Gautreau) Bourgeois. Mr. Bourgeois had retired from the CN. He was a WWII army veteran and a member of Ste-Thérèse parish. He is survived by one daughter, Geraldine (Oscar) LeBlanc of Moncton; two sons: Eddie (Vicky) and John (Jeanne), both of Lakeville; one daughter-in-law, Donna of Dieppe; one brother, Alfred (Bernadette) of Dieppe; eight grandchildren: Daniel, Lisa, Michel, Monique, Julien, Normand, Celeste and Eric; seven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Hermance in 1994, one son, Normand; two sisters: Dorilla and Corinne and also by one brother, Neri.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also Thursday from 9 am until time of funeral. Veteran prayers will be held on Wednesday at 3:45 pm.
Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 6th, 2012 at 10 am. Interment in the Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
