Member of the Royal British Navy, WWII Veteran, passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 David Wade in his 90th year of Avondale. Predeceased by his wife; Mary Frances Wade (1976); father, Richard Wade; mother, Mary Bridget Wade; brothers: William and Richard (Dick); sisters: Winnie Cole and Catherine Fitzpatrick. Left to mourn are his sons: David (Marie), Ron (Cecila) and Doug (Isabelle); daughters: Gladys (Brian) Crawley, Sandra (Andy) Default and Corinne (Bradley) Kennedy; his sister Elizabeth Wade and best friend and cousin, Jack Wade; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Special thanks to his caregivers Kathleen Brophy and Barb Costello. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 from Assumption Church, Avondale.
