ALLAIN, ELISABETH “BETTY” - 1936 - 2012 - Elisabeth “Betty” Allain, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on December 3, 2012 , at the age of 76. Born in Shediac, NB on January 24, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Harvey Cormier and Geneva Doiron. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Yvon and by her daughter Debbie Chiu, four grandchildren, Stephanie, Sandy, Ryan and Kevin and four great grandchildren, all of Mississauga. Betty will be sadly missed by several brothers-in-law, their wives, several nieces and nephews and by her special friend Camilla “Cam” Cormier.
There will be no visiting hours at the family’s request. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
