
George Beshara
BESHARA, GEORGE EDWARD - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of George Edward Beshara which occurred on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1929 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edward John and Mary Elizabeth (Hunt) Beshara. George worked as a Professional Transport Truck Driver for 45 years. He cherished his grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. George loved to spend time outdoors, bowling, hunting, fishing, golfing, and camping. George is survived by his loving wife Ruth of 48 years; daughters Michelle Bedford (Steven) of Saint John, Linda Comeau (Victor) of Quispamsis; brother Ronald (Patricia) of Quispamsis; sisters Barbara Norton (James) of Ottawa, ON, Dorothy Blanchard (Laurie) of Fredericton, Belinda Thibodeau (Albert) of Moncton; grandchildren Jordan, Jared, Tracy, Kim, Katherine and Melissa; great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brothers Leonard Arthur, Edward John; sisters Josephine Wickborn, Ruth Panasuk, Christina Hodgin, and Anna Beshara.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, December 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 8th at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of George may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
