Inez Bubar

BUBAR, INEZ EILEEN - Inez Eileen Bubar passed away, after a short illness, on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Fredericton on August 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Daisy (Tapley) Stewart and wife of the late Walter Bubar. Inez worked at the Marysville Cotton Mill. She worked in the restaurant business at the Barker Hotel, Joe’s Diner and ran the restaurant at the Boyce Market for many years. She loved to cook and have big meals. Inez loved to play Bingo on Thursday nights with the Penniac gang. She especially loved her family. She is survived by her loving daughters Rozelle Lelond (Vince) of Codys, NB, Kim Clark (Randy) of Penniac, NB; son Donald Bubar (Kim) of Penniac, NB; grandchildren Jodi Gilmore (Ian), Tina Dorcas (John), Dana Dorcas; great grandchildren Shelby Dorcas, McKenzie Dorcas, and Hayden Dykeman; brother Neville Stewart (Marilyn); several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister Pearl Raymond and a brother Eldridge MacIntosh.
As per Inez’s wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Brewer officiating. Interment will take place at the Penniac United Cemetery. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Dr. Bryden, Dr. Aslam, Dr. Murdock and the entire staff of the ICU at the Chalmers Hospital. We would also like to thank Dr. Tom Barry for all the care he has given her for many years.
