GODIN, CHRISTINA MAY - It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Christina May Godin at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on December 6th 2012. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Dickinson) Currie. Christina was a member of St Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her children; Barbara Yerxa (Doug Holt), Mary “Betty” Godin and Jeanette Godin, grandchildren; Tim, Jeff, Svein, Heather and Sara, also by several great-grandchildren, brother; Walter Currie, sisters; Betty Shore and Della Leavitt. Christina was predeceased by her husband Anthony Bernard Godin, children, Diane Pike and Michael Godin, brothers; Harold and Kenneth Currie and sister Beatrice Carter.
Although there will be no visitation by request, a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:30 AM, from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Jennings Officiating. Interment to take place in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Grove for all the wonderful care they provided for Mom during her stay at the Nursing Home.
