On Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, at the age of 91, the Lord called ‘Mom’ home. Predeceased by her husband Murray, son Beecher, and brothers: Jamie, Malcolm, and Clarence. She will be missed by all who knew her, especially by her sisters: Muriel, Clarabelle, Doris, Ethel, Shirley, brother Jim (Percy), children: Sheila (Denys), Curtis (Connie), Clarence (Nancy), and Greg (Tara), grandchildren: Amanda, Shara (Lyndon), Stephen, Diana, Loriley, Murray (Heather), Jaden, Rylee Mae and great-grandson, Blake, her daughter-in-law Shirley; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation took place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from the hours of 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from the Pentecostal Church in Cormack on Friday , December 7, 2012 at 3:30 pm. with Pastor Giles officiating.
