BROWN, HELEN MAY - The passing of Helen May Brown of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was 88. Born in Fredericton on June 21, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Westall) Young. Her husband, Stewart Brown predeceased her in 1993. Helen May was a faithful member of Christ Church Cathedral and was employed as a Secretary in Toronto for many years. She is survived by Douglas and Wanda Wasson and family of Ottawa, Diane and Vic Defeo of Philadelphia, USA, Ed and Mary Derrah of Fredericton, Christopher and Deidra Derrah and their son Wyatt of Zealand, Carla and Jon Dueck and their son Tharen of Fredericton and a special friend, Marian Grzadka of Fredericton.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Christ Church Cathedral on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Dean Keith Joyce officiating. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
