Passed peacefully away at his home in Foxtrap on Thursday, December 6, 2012 age 80 yrs. Predeceased by his infant daughter 1960 and special daughter Dessie 2009, parents James and Lilly Porter, sister Jean 2007. Leaving to mourn wife Phyllis of 57 years; sons Boyde (Mary), James (Wanda); daughters: Cathy (Ivan Sarica), Giselle (Leonard Greenslade); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Marion Butler, Lizzie Buchholz, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 2 – 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
