The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, of Glennis “Vivian” Yeo, Summerside, age 93, wife of the late Jarvis Yeo. Born in Knutsford on Feb. 28, 1919, daughter of the late John and Annie (Shaw) Harris. Dear mother to Glen (Adele Spence), St. Nicholas; Lilla Kinch, Berla Ferrish, Nora (Barry) Kinch, all of Summerside; Donna McPhee, Kitchener, ON; Wessman (Gail) Yeo, Egmont Bay; Glenna Gallant, Delma (Jerry) Arsenault, both of Richmond Hill; Robert (Helen) Yeo, Summerside; Ralph (Sharon) Yeo, Oakville, ON., and Jarvis “Junior”(Helen) Yeo, Summerside, and daughter-in-law Sally Yeo. Loving grandmother to 35 grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. Vivian is also survived by her sister Eileen Johnson, Charlottetown.
Predeceased by her parents, husband (1982), son Norbert, grandson Brandon Yeo, sons-in-law Eldon Ferrish, George “Junior” Kinch and Chuck MacPhee, brothers and sisters: Avard, Guy, Elizabeth, Arthur, Wessman, Calvin, Lilly, Birdie, Linnie, Fannie and Wilfred. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Friday 6-9 p.m. Funeral service Saturday in the chapel with the time to be announced later. Interment to follow in Springfield West Baptist Cemetery. In memory of Vivian, memorials to Prince County Hospital Foundation or Springfield West Baptist Cemetery would be appreciated.
