Peacefully, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on Saturday, May 10, 2008, of John Elijah Roach of Peakes Road, age 78 years. Special partner of Winnie Murphy. Loving father of Bob (Susan), Avondale, and Linda Roach (Jim Conohan), Seal River. Dear grandfather of Amy, Ian, Vickie, Dwane, Sherry Lynn, Cory, Colin and Riley, and numerous great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Lem (Ginnie) Roach, Charlottetown; Millie Hilchie, Dartmouth, and Viola Acorn, Charlottetown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mary (nee Gardiner); his daughter, Lorraine Peckham; brother, Emmett Roach, and his sister, Leona Roach. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home, until Tuesday at 10:15, then to St. Andrews Cathlolic Church, Mt. Stewart, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery, Mt.
