Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2012, Ada Butler, aged 92 years. Born in Clarke’s Beach, moved to Corner Brook with her husband Henry until 2003 when she moved to Mount Pearl, until moving to her final place of residence, St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Predeceased by her husband Henry Butler, 1996; brother William and sister Leanie. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Henry and daughter-in-law Colleen; sister Myrtle French; sister-in-law Elma Butler; special friends: Gunter and Glenys Dlugosch, Dave and Shirley Noseworthy, Russ and Shirley Dennis, John and Barbara Walsh and Myrtle Nixon; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 7 West and 4 East of St. Clare’s Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Monday, from 7 - 9 p.m. and then on Tuesday, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from First United Church, Clarke’s Beach, NL on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach.
