At the Riverview Manor, Lois Jean Yorston (nee Larter), wife of the late Gordon Yorston, occurred on Monday, December 17, 2012.
Born November 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Gladys (Ford) Larter. Lois is survived by her children, Clifford (Theresa), Gordon, Donna, Gloria and Susan, Brenda; brother, Joe Larter (Jean); and sister, Evelyn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by children, Winston and Russell; sisters, Emma Moore and Elsie Senter; sisters-in-law, Lenora, Betty; brothers-in-law, Eloi and Daniel.
No visiting hours or funeral service by family request. A private family burial took place in St. David's Cemetery, Georgetown.
Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or St. David's Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
