- It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Marilyn Landry, age 70, of Sackville. Marilyn passed away quietly at her home on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Born in Pembroke, ON, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Muriel (Hicks) Jewers. Marilyn was an employee of Mount Allison University and the Drew Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by her husband Donald, Sackville; son Alan (Kathy), Sackville; three brothers David (Brenda) Jewers, Sackville, Charles (Darlene) Jewers and James Jewers, both of Ontario; brother-in-law Gerald (Clara) Landry, Fitchburg, Mass.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10 am from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
