HENWOOD, JAMES H. – 65, of Springhill, and formerly of West Brook, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at home. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Archie and Gertrude (White) Henwood. James was employed with Oxford Frozen Foods for many years. He was a member of the Springhill Lions Club. He is survived by a son, Dwayne (Jennifer Embree), Springhill; sisters, Cynthia Gould (Henry), Sackville, NB; Wanda Morrison (Randy), Brandford, Ont.; brothers, Eric (Louanne), Parrsboro; Morton, Moncton; 2 grandchildren, Gavin and Cole. He was predeceased recently by his wife, Carol in September; a son, Clinton. Visitation 6-8 pm today [Friday, December 21, 2012] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012. Burial in the West Brook Cemetery.
