It is with great sadness that the family of the late Judy Janes announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday, December 21st, 2012 at the age of 62 years after a long courageous battle with cancer. As a Camerin Inquiry girl Judy got to help a lot of people along her journey. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Harold of Boswarlos and her sons: Constable Michael (Cindy) Janes, in Marystown, NL, Alban (Brenda) Janes in Red Deer, Alberta, Matthew Janes in Red Deer, Alberta and Ronnie Janes in St. John’s, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren: Alyssa, Logan and Gavin; her brother Ronnie (Anne) in Hinton, Alberta, a very special care giver Madaline Buckle and her four legged pal “Skipper”. Visitation will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 from Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral services will take place at the First United Church on St. Clare Avenue in Stephenville on Monday, December 24th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathryn Eddy officiating. Cremation will follow and interment will be at a later date. Donations can be made to the S.P.C.A. in Judy’s memory.
