Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Unit on Friday, December 21, 2012, Carmel Cantwell of Avondale in her 54th year. Predeceased by her father William, her mother & father-in-law William & Catherine, brother-in-law Bill. Left with fond & loving memories are her loving husband, Tony of 32 years; her children: Wayne Ryan, (CC Cantwell), Dave (Janis) Ryan, Anthony (Glenda) Cantwell & Kelly (Dan) Johnson; her adored six grandchildren; her mother Catherine Ryan; her brothers & sisters: Rita (Sandy), Patrick (Genevieve), William, Ken, Ann (Ray), Marie (Jerry), Mary (David), Jenny (Jim), Charl (Val), & Joe (Joanne) many sisters & brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and & large circle of extended family & friends. At Carmel’s request cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving family & friends at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Sunday, December 23rd from 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, December 24th 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from Assumption Church, Avondale.
