Stellarton : Robert (Bobby) John Morrison age 63 of New Glasgow and formerly of Evansville passed away on Friday December 21 ,2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Robert and Gloria (Shreenan) Morrison .
Bobby was a lifelong resident of Evansville.
He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
Bobby was a former employee of Trenton Works and the C.N.R.
He was a former volunteer fireman with the Stellarton Fire Dept.
Bobby enjoyed doing woodworking with his uncle Bernie.
Surviving are sisters: Marion (George) Charlton of Evansville
Kay (Tom) Heighton of Saltssprings
A brother : David (Betty) Morrison of New Glasgow
A number of nieces ,nephews and cousins
Special aunt and uncle Bernie and Marion Hoare of Evansville
Aunts and uncles: Burton and Dodie Shreenan of Halifax
Donnie and Kaye Shreenan of Lansdowne
Edward and Florence McKearney of Lyons Brook
Bobby was predeceased by his parents
Visitation was held in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Home on Sunday December 23 ,2012 from 2-4and 7-9 P.M.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 P.M. Monday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter MacDonald officiating .Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Bobby may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Bobby was someone who made everyone laugh, he was a special son , brother ,and friend to everyone who knew him.
The family would like to give special thanks High Crest Home for the great care they gave to Bobby while he was there.
