Edward Joseph “Eddy” Miner
Edward Joseph “Eddy” Miner, 74, of MacDonald Road, Thorburn passed away Dec. 23, 2012 at his home.
Born in Ottawa he was a son of the late Edward Joseph and Hannah (Salt) Miner.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, the former Elsie (Jones), Thorburn; his children Daniel, Truro; Donna (Paul) MacIntyre, New Glasgow; Edward Michael, Saltsprings; Joanne Vacheresse, Thorburn; Gordon (Lorraine), Ottawa; Debbie (Sheldon) Hendsbee, Windsor, Ontario; 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, chosen daughter Cindy MacKenzie, Dartmouth; chosen brother and sister Frank and Gayle both of Johnstown, Ontario.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his Father and Mother-in law Mary and Tom Jones and several brothers and a sister.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Eddy’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Nova Scotia Lung Association or to a charity of ones choice.
