THOMPSON, ROBERT “BOB” CLINTON - The passing of Robert “Bob” Clinton Thompson of Fredericton, soul mate of Heather M. Gardiner occurred on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 5, 1931 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Gordon) Thompson. He was a self employed “Salvage Expert”. He enjoyed dancing and living life to its fullest. Beside his soul mate Heather, Bob is survived by his four children, Gloria, Jimmy, Larry and Jerry. Bob was predeceased by his grandmother, Gertrude Gordon; and special cousin, Charles Gordon.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm. In accordance to Bob’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
