MANSHIP, WINNIFRED "SIS" - 1928 - 2012 - Winnifred "Sis" Manship, 84, of Moncton, NB formerly of Steadman St., passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, December 23, 2012. Born in Cape Tormentine, NB she was the daughter of the late Floyd E. & Maud A. (Jefferies) Manship. "Sis" worked in Grey Rocks Inn in the Laurentains, then moved back to Moncton in 1974 and was self employed as a maintenance contractor. Sis will be remembered for her excellent cooking, sense of humor and her kindness. She is survived by one sister Marion Fitzpatrick of Fredericton, NB; one brother George Manship of Riverview; sister-in-laws Rubie Manship of Moncton and Kathleen Manship of Ont.; special care workers Rose Rivard and Claudette Shean, also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Donald and Clack Manship.
By personal request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00pm. Donations in Winnifred's memory may be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
