DANAHER, ELIZABETH "BETTY" - Betty Danaher of Hampton, formerly of Norton Shore Road, widow of Brendan Danaher, passed away December 24, 2012 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton. She was born October 18, 1920 in Poland, daughter of the late Clara Buzowska and her stepfather, Ignacz. She was a member of Hampton Branch 28, R.C.L. Ladies Auxiliary. Betty loved bowling, darts, bingo and dancing. She is survived by special friends, Donna Danaher, Sue Hooper and Jack Long, Kathy Hooper, Janet and Steve Wilson, Anne Fulton, the Chapman Family, Dave and Myrna White, Pat and Dave Murray, Larry Stewart, Mike and Eva Regdos, Cathy Wright and Jamie Wilson, Mary and Gary Pollock, and all her friends at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre. She was predeceased by sisters, Ursala and Angelica; and brother, Edmund of Poland.
There will be no visitation at Betty's request. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, December 31, 2012 at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton. Interment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ladies Auxiliary Branch 28, the Garden Fund at Dr. V. A. Snow Centre or a charity of the donor’s choice. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home, Hampton.
