LeBLANC, ANDRÉ - André LeBlanc, 57, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born July 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Gérard and Adrienne (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. André was a businessman having owned and operated Gagnon Beach Camping, Ed's Hardware and Supplies, Cap-Pelé Taxi, and having been a councillor with the Village of Cap-Pelé. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 25 years, Maria (Richard) LeBlanc; his brothers and sisters: Annie Porelle (Néri), Aline LeBlanc (Laurie), Gérald (Eva), and Pierre (Paulette), all of Cap-Pelé; also by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Friday, December 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Saturday, December 29 from 9:30 until departure for Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. In memory of André, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.
