LAGACY, DARLENE SHARON - Darlene S. (Tompkins) Lagacy of Woodstock, NB passed away on January 6, 2013 at Upper River Valley Hospital. Born at Woodstock, NB in 1954, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Rosie (Lenentine) Tompkins. She is survived by her children, Kevin Lagace, Jason Lagace and Monica Legacy; her grandchildren, Amber, Logan, Shelta, Cody, Stevie, Kalan, Bryanna and Austin; a sister, Marian Sewell (Francis) and a brother, Sherwood Tompkins, both of Nackawic, NB; several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Jean; a granddaughter, Kayla; two sisters, Eileen Jenkins and Patricia Rockwell and a brother, Merlin Tompkins.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment will be later at Lenentine Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Darlene, the family has suggested the Lenentine Cemetery.
