LAKE, LINDA L. – 69, of New Canaan passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Elizabeth (Fulton) Gilbert. She is survived by her husband, Alan; a daughter, Tanya Spears (Mike), Hammonds Plains; sons, Mark, New Canaan; Scott (Sandy Young), Parrsboro; sisters, Barbara Trask (Charles), Parrsboro; Theresa Taylor (Terry), Parrsboro; Susan Shay (Les), Edmonton; a brother, Clifford (Margo), New Canaan; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Brenda; Lola in infancy; a brother, Myles. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
