Léonce Nowlan
NOWLAN, LÉONCE - 1923 - 2013 - Léonce Nowlan, 89, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Tuesday, January 08, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was married to Olive (Thibodeau) Nowlan of Villa Mgr. Allain, Bouctouche. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, he was the son of the late Daniel and the late Marie (Girouard) Nowlan. He was a fisherman and work for 20 years in the winters at the Saint John Dock yard as labor. He will be sadly missed by his wife Olive, his five children; Rose-May Savoie (late Fernand) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Rita Robichaud (Guy) of Aldouane, Oliva Daigle (Roger) and Jeanne LeBlanc (Paul) of Bouctouche, Paul (late Laurina) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, his ten grandchildren; Paulette, Jacques, Daniel, Gaetan, Charlene, Mario, Tina, Mireille, Réjean and Mathieu and ten great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two brothers; Laurie and Royal of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one grandson; Léopold, three sisters, Loretta, Cécilia, Rita and one brother Emile.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Friday, January 11th, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
