The death occurred at Halifax, N.S., on Friday, May 2, 2008, of Calvin P. Wood of Halifax and formerly of Charlottetown. Beloved husband of Vera and dear father of Dr. David Wood, Dr. Cathy Wood and Heather Archibald. Brother of Velma (George) Wright. Predeceased by his parents, Pansy and Parker Wood. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Cemetery on Saturday, May 24, at 2 p.m. A reception will follow immediately in the Morrie Room of MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel.
