Yvonne LeBlanc
LeBLANC, YVONNE - Yvonne LeBlanc, 89, of the Résidence Bellevue, Dieppe passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Dr. Geoges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on June 29, 1923 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Emma (Haché) Boudreau. Yvonne was a devout catholic and volunteered with many charitable church organizations. A caring mother, grandmother, and sister Yvonne will be sadly missed by two daughters: Annette Doucet (Jean -Charles) of Fredericton and Louise Tower (Gerry) of Indian Mountain; one son, Michel “Mike” (Jeanne) of Fredericton; one sister, Cecile Oxner of Moncton; eight grandchildren: Miquelle, Nathalie, Katherine, Julie, Janel, Shawn, Courtney and Stephanie; thirteen great grandchildren: Nia, Alie, Claire, Julia, Noah, Rylee, Nikolai, Gwenyth, Juliet, Wyatt, Caroline, Sarah and Carter; a former son-in-law: David Price, as well as several nieces and nephews.Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Tom” LeBlanc (2009), by an infant daughter, Suzanne and by four brothers: Camille, Léonard, Donald “Donny” and Edouard “Jr.”
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15 a.m.). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ - Roi R.C. Church, 300, Dominion Street, Moncton, on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Yvonne, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or donor’s choice would be appreciated.
