Passed peacefully away at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on January 11, 2013 Sarah Jane Hodder of North Harbour formally of Rock Harbour and Port Anne P.B. aged 93 years. Predeceased by husband Chesley 1968; parents John Thomas and Charlotte (Hopper) Hodder; sisters Selina Anstey, Bridget Hodder, Rebecca Hodder; brothers Samuel Hodder, Josiah Hodder. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters; Jessie Deir (Arthur) Arnold’s Cove, Rhoda Slade (David) North Harbour, Jeanette Brown (Arthur) Rock Harbour, son John Hodder (Beverly Barnes), grandchildren; Lisa Parsons (Jeff), Chesley Deir, Dwayne Slade (Kate Read), Matthew Hodder (Krista King), Justin Brown, Jeanene Slade, Cheryl Brown, Timothy Hodder (Jennifer), Chantel (Blair Pardy); great grandchildren; Brandon Brown, Sara & Emily Parsons, Gabriel & Morgan Hodder, Devon & Jacob Slade, Joshua & Megan Deir; sister Isabelle Farewell, Creston South; sister in law Jessie Hodder, Rock Harbour, special niece Selina Upshall and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Matthews Anglican Church, North Harbour. Funeral Service took place 11:00 am Monday, January 14, 2013 from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, North Harbour with committal at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Rock Harbour.
