DIXON, WINNIFRED - At Victoria Glen Manor, Perth-Andover, January 13, 2013, Mrs. Winnifred Dixon of Limestone Siding passed away at the age of 91 years. She was the wife of the late Earlen Dixon who passed away in 1974. Born at Limestone Siding in 1921, she was a daughter of the late Newman and Inez (Davenport) McLaughlin. She is survived by children Maxine Goodine (late Winston) of Kingston, ON, Terry Dixon (Sharon) of Limestone Siding, Gloria McQuade (John) of Medford and Connie Kelly (Rick Shanks) of Fredericton, daughter-in-law, Sandra Dixon of Perth-Andover, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, one sister, Geraldine Baker of Tilley, two brothers, Arthur McLaughlin (Phyllis) of Limestone Siding and Hubert McLaughlin of Morrell Siding, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Russell Dixon, one infant son and two infant daughters, sisters, Madoline, Hope, Eva, Camilla, Maxine, brothers, Milford, and Paul.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, January 17th at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Reginald Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Ortonville Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
