HASSON, BARBARA ALLEN - Surrounded by her loving family, Barbara Hasson passed away peacefully at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Monday, January 14, 2013. Born on June 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James and Sara (Kelly) Mersereau. She is survived by her husband Ralph, of 56 years and her sons John (Cheryl) and Jim (Megan), her sisters Maxine Jones (Art) and Yvonne Mersereau, her dearly loved grand children Tori, Sara, Aneira and Rees, nieces Louann Brawn (Avery), Ruth Richardson (John) and Debbie Bigger (Tim) and several grand nieces and nephews. Barbara always made her family her first priority and she enjoyed being an active volunteer in her church and the community. She was a strong partner in her husbands bulk sales agency providing administrative and customer support. Her patience and ability to see the good in all things around her were a source of inspiration for her family and friends.
Resting at Sunbury Funeral Home with visiting hours on January 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on January 18 at 2:00 pm at Patterson United Church # 6705, Route 101, Wirral NB. Interment will take place at Patterson United Church cemetery, Hoyt, NB at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Gordon Plummer, Dr. Jonathan Clayton and Rev. Jeffro Bursey for their guidance and support during this difficult time.
