Passed peacefully away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Friday, January 18th, 2013, Violet Pomeroy, age 90. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Pauline Randell, Deer Lake, Lloyd (Hilda) Pomeroy, Deer Lake, Edna Newman, Deer Lake; grandchildren: Pastor Roy (Marion) Randell, James Randell, Calvin Randell, Shawn (Debbie) Pomeroy, Robert Pomeroy, Ben Pomeroy, Victor Watkins (Lenora), Trudy (Cyril) White, Darren Newman, Barry Newman; great grandchildren: Brian Randell, Curtis Randell, Ashley (Rick) Zuidersma, Ashley Rae Pomeroy, Kayla White, Emily White, Darren Newman Jr, Matthew Newman, Tyler Newman; and sister-in-law: Myrtice Pomeroy, Fogo Island; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Claude Pomeroy. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Sunday January 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21st, at 2 p.m. from St Paul's United Church, with Rev.
