The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, of Mr. Joseph Gerard Condon of Green Road, age 72 years. Son of the late Reginald and Rita (nee Condon) Wood and stepson of the late Percy Wood. He is survived by his brothers, O’Connell, Charlie, Walter and Grant Wood and his sister, Joanne Wood. He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Wilfred Wood, and his sister, Linda Wood. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Joseph’s Church, Kellys Cross, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 6 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to the P.E.I. Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
