BAGLEY, HORACE EDWARD - With great rejoicing the family announces the passing of Horace Edward Bagley which occurred on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born 1925, in Grand Manan, NB, he was the son of the late William and Pearl Bagley. Horace worked as an Engineer with Irving for many years and was a jack of all trades. He loved spending time with his family and he adored his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Besides his parents, Horace was predeceased by his son David; brothers Earnest, Earl, and Churchill, granddaughter Kristin and great-granddaughter Sydney Reann. Horace is survived by his loving wife Helen of 62 years; son Dana of Saint John; daughters June Courtoreille (Kim) of Wabasca, AB, Patty Spicer (Leighton) of Grand Manan, and Joanne Hodgson (Rick) of Lakeville, NB; sisters Joyce Morse of Grand Manan and Violet Green (Irving) of Pennfield, NB; daughter-in-law Jo Ann Bagley of Saskatoon; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, January 21st from 1 to 4 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in Grand Manan at a later date.
