This weekend marked the passing of the vibrant and caring Brenda Beckett.
Born in Chesterfield, U.K., she moved to Cape Breton, Dec. 18, 1967, where she has since been an active member of the community.
She leaves behind so much of herself in her husband, the love of her life, Brian; her sister, Susan Wroe; her three adult children, Sally (Angus) Capstick, Andrew (Wendy) Beckett and Michael Beckett; and her seven precious grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Douglas and Kyle Capstick and Kayleigh, Brian and Christian Beckett. Brenda will be remembered fondly for her wonderful sense of humour and her giving soul.

Cremation has taken place.
